Last night after work the fiance and I had dinner with his sister and husband and another couple. We then all went to see this movie. (yes, we dragged 3 men to the movie!)
My movie review is mixed. I think I am slightly biast because I just read the book 2 weeks ago so it's fresh in my mind. I loved the book so much and was so excited to see the movie. The movie was awesome don't get me wrong, it's def a must see! Especially because of Rachael McAdams, love her!
My only complaint is that is was very different from the book. I understand that it is loosely based on the book but I had hoped for more of the book in the movie. I don't want to reveal too many details because I know a lot of people are going to see it.
All in all we had a great night (and D did enjoy the movie) and it was a great date night.

Plans for Saturday: this weekend is the air and water show in Chicago, we are going to my friends condo to watch the show from her awesome roof top deck. The weather is suppose to be 90* all weekend.
Plans for Sunday: we are going to D's family's lake house to celebrate my future FIL birthday. It will be nice to beat the heat on the lake with our boats and Sea Doos!! Some sun is good too, I am white this summer!

I saw the movie too and I didn't like it very much. I finished the book Thursday night so it was very fresh on my mind. I guess because it was a lot different than the book was why I didn't like it. I love Rachel McAdams though!
Hmmm maybe I will go see it then. I didn't like the book so maybe I will enjoy the movie more?
I am so glad you went to see the movie too! I loved it and I was that girl sniffling throughout the whole movie. Gosh, I am such a softie! Maybe I should read the book to see which one I like better. Hope the rest of your weekend is wonderful!

I hate when they change the movie so much from the book!! I read the TTW years ago when it first came out, and now I'm afraid there's no much hype it might not live up. Now I'm curious to see it this coming week. :)
