Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!!

We are headed to a Halloween party tonight with our friends. I am super excited because last year we decided to pass on parties or costumes so this year it's time to go all out. I will post pics of all the fun and our costumes.

In the mean time our fur babies have dressed up for the occasion.

Marley officially hates us for putting this on his head.

She also hated the costume but she looks so cute!! It's banana's!

WEDDING: Finally married! Picture time!

I gave my dad the task of taking pictures with our camera. We discussed that since we had an amazing professional photographer and videographer that he wouldn't take pictures of the ceremony. He was just going to focus on us on what was going on. So we will all have to wait for the professional pictures (us too) to see the ceremony.

One detail I will share: our minister, a Hawaiian named Kimo was hilarious!! He was a short tan man that I'm pretty sure was stoned! He kept closing his eyes then opening them real wide. I was trying so hard not to laugh during the ceremony. Our bridal party agreed with us on our crazy minister. We thought he was great and so memorable, he did a great job! He love that we have this memory of our (possibly stoned) a little odd minister! He was defiantly a riot and a perfect fit for us!

So we are finally married and after wards we took A TON of pictures. I am so glad we will have lots to choose from but towards the end we were so over ALL the pictures. My face seriously hurt from all the smiling. Here are some my dad (and my mom) took of all the paparazzi chaos.

FYI-somehow the camera got switched to my black and white setting. They still turned out pretty cool.

Our ceremony site. It was so perfect.

My parents have offered to watch her Saturday night while we attend our Halloween party. So grateful that she won't have to be alone with stitches.

WEDDING: Getting ready

Morning of the wedding. I couldn't sleep so I decided to go on the balcony and watch the sunrise. It was beautiful and so calming.

I had breakfast with my mom and step dad then sat on my moms balcony for about an hour with her. She gave me this gorgeous bracelet!! I love Tiffany's (who doesn't?) and this was such a special thing to get on my wedding day. I wore it for the wedding.

My dress with beautiful Maui in the background.

My mom and I had our hair/ makeup done together in my room. It was nice to spend time with her before the wedding began.

Finally my turn! I was starring outside at the ocean the whole time.

Braid in my hair. Love it!

I got this delivery of fruit, chocolate, Riesling (my fav) from all my lovely co-workers. The glass of wine was awesome to help my nerves.

Seeing the makeup for the first time. Loved it!! I had bought eye lashes from MAC to wear at the wedding. They were so fun!

Love this zip up I found at Victoria's Secret online!!

My beautiful MOH (and future niece) and bridesmaid.

A sweet moment with mom once my dress was finally on.

Flip flops for the beach. The boys all had black ones on too.

My mom got this great shot of me looking at the lawn outside. I could see everything being set up and all the guests arriving. I even got a peek at D before I headed down.

My gift from D was delivered by 2 of his groomsman. This is a necklace I had been eying from one of my favorite jewelry designers Zoe Chicco.

WEDDING: Rehearsal dinner luau

For our rehearsal dinner we wanted to take all our guests to a luau. The hotel we stayed at has one of the oldest luaus on the island so we thought it was a perfect choice for our big dinner. We had great drinks, awesome food, and a great luau show. The sunset was perfect that day too. We had a great time. Thanks again to my new In Laws for a great night!!

Dan with his wife Amy from St louis and Ed with his wife Carly from Colorado. D's good friends from college that have become my good friends!

The happy couple.

My grandparents came in from Mrytle Beach.

My dad Paul and my step dad Mark.

Our big table with 24 guests. We were so blessed to have so many people come all the way to Maui for us.

My Matron of Honor Stacy and my bridesmaid Lauren. Stacy is 7 months pregnant and is such a trooper!!

D with men: Joe, Matt, Dan, and Ed.

Luau show. My favorite part was the fire dancers. We got to stand up and get announced for everyone at the show. It was really cool.

Pineapples with yummy drinks in them!!

D may have had a few pineapples himself :-)

WEDDING: Sign on the bottom line

One loose end to tie up in Hawaii was getting our marriage license, a pretty important part! We had an appointment with the license lady so we took my P's with, aka our paparazzi! This place was in like a back alley run down building, it was hilarious since we were in such a beautiful place that this alley looked like a drug den or something equally sketchy...LOL.

Yay marriage license!

My bride t-shirt was super cute but it didn't turn out in the pictures.

Taking the oath.
Our license lady was some what of a wedding nazi. Picture me, all excited and chatting up a storm with her, she leans over her computer, stops typing and says 'I can't talk and type your info at the same time'. Ha, she was a bit uptight but we thought it was hilarious. Someone should bring her a cookie.

Making it legal!!

WEDDING: Some pre-wedding fun

D's BIL Matthew enjoying the sun at the hotel pool.

Having dinner at Mama's Fish House. One of my top 5 meals I have ever had. D, myself, and 16 of our family all went for my grandparents anniversary the Thursday before the wedding.

D playing in the pool. I love this pic I took of him.

Matt, D, Linda (my new MIL), and me getting some sun. SPF 30 for me, I was so nervous for burns or bad tan lines for my wedding day.

Cool shot my mom got on her balcony.

Visiting the wedding location lawn for the first time with a beautiful sunset. It was so cool to finally see it.

Gorgeous sunset!! They were amazing in Maui!

The first few days in Maui were a bit stressful for me. Yes I was in paradise but I still had a wedding coming up and I had a hard time fully relaxing. The time change (5 hours behind) made it hard for me to sleep. I was up at 4am every day. I did take a quick nap everyday but it was still wedding mode for me. My head was spinning with details, nerves, and excitement!
