This was the official first weekend of Spring and Chicago gave us the nice welcome gift of snow!!
Saturday it was 30* with a nasty snow/ winter slush mix. It was gross and cold. Sunday it was just plain freezing. D and I went to breakfast and then laid around inside the warm house watching New Moon (yes we bought it when Best Buy opened) and being lazy, it was awesome!
Luckily the snow is already pretty much melted but it was still uncool of you Chicago!

Eeek!! Sorry y'all got snow! We didn't get any here...but my goodness, the temps dropped about 30 degrees! I'm not too happy with Mother Nature right now!

I agree. Very uncool of Chicago. I was so disappointed when I woke up and saw the snow. Hopefully this week will be better!
We didn't get any snow in Houston but our house did sound like it was going to blow over from all the wind. It was about 36 this weekend. Yuck! I'm ready for the sunshine!

Wow, snow??! Spring weather is crazy--it was in the 60s and sunny in Seattle on Saturday, now it's back to the rain, clouds, and cold! Hopefully it warms up everywhere soon.
This weather is just pissing me off! It's insane!!
I was in Chicago this weekend and that rain/sleet/snow on Saturday was the WORST!!! We stood outside in it for an hour waiting to get into the damn aquarium. I HATE WINTER!!!!!!
ugh, i am SO sick of this winter. It needs to leave and not come back for a good 8 months or so. :(
It snowed in OK on Saturday too! My facebook comment was "not cool Oklahoma, not cool" so apparently great minds think alike!
Oh no! Sorry about the snow! We had a really nice and warm weekend in MD. However I still watched New Moon all weekend instead of going outside!
ha ha texas too...we had 3 inches in our neck of the woods..how crazy crazy is that? here i complain and then summer will hit w/triple digit temps and then i'll really whine! ;o)

How did I miss that you live in Chicago? I LOVE CHICAGO! My brother is stationed in Great Lakes at the Naval Base and I can't wait to come this summer for a visit. Boo for snow though!
Come on, it's not so bad! Chicago is just preparing you so that you'll really appreciate the great weather once it arrives!
Oh em gee. I would cry. I am SO sick of snow. Thank goodness up in Rhode Island we survived without snow and had some sunshine until today.

Oh, bummer! Our weekend was amazing, but the rain came in today.
My hubby flew to Chicago today, and he didn't bring a coat. I bet he'll be upset when he realizes its COLD!

I was actually stuck in the Chicago airport (on our way back from St. Thomas)when there was all of that snow. S funny that I saw you blog about it.
