Out of surgery

B is out of surgery and doing well. His surgery went very smooth, no issues at all. We ended up staying in recovery for a while because B was fussy and in pain. We found a dose of morphine that calmed him down as well as some IB profin.

We made our way to our room and we are trying to get B to nap for awhile now that he is comfortable. He will get his first tube feeding in 4 hours and we will start with pedialyte.

Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers. We really appreciate it.

Heather-a friend of mine has been telling me about your sweet family. Brayden is an adorable dream-what a cutie! Your family has been thru so much and on some levels, i can relate. Our son, Nathanael, has hydrocephalus and epilepsy. He was born with the hydro, shunted 3 days later, and the epilepsy reared its ugly head shortly after his first birthday. He's also on keppra, and others as his seizures are uncontrolled. Life with a special needs child is tiring, rewarding, joyful, scary... I hope you have lots of friends and family close that can support you in person; but know that the rest of us are out here, praying for you and your hubs and of course, precious Brayden. Give him a kiss from our family-he is so handsome :D
