The power of prayer

I know first hand the power of prayer and the effect it can have. When B was sick we had hundreds, maybe even thousands of people praying for him. I would have random people come up to me and say they were praying us or their whole church did a prayer request. It was so nice to hear.

I think that medical advances can only take you so far and then comes the persons drive to heal and prayer. I think you need all three to come out of tough situations. And sometimes miracles happen. I truly believe in miracles after Brayden survived his ordeals. All the Dr's told me that he should not be here. Babies survival rate with bacterial meningitis has bad statistics and add to that sepsis (blood infection) and then have it happen 3 times. He is a miracle.

My good friend Jaci is need of prayers right now. Her mom had a heart attack three weeks ago and after healing and being moved to a rehab facility she had another heart attack and is back in the hospital.

I wanted to post about it to spread the word and get as many prayers as we can for her. It's a critical situation. I know all too well what it's like to have a loved one sick and in the hospital. I felt helpless, sad, scared, angry. It's a roller coaster and I hope their family can get some peace soon.

Please visit my friends blog and spread the love with prayer.

Prayer is a powerful thing, praying that everything goes well with your friends mom.

Of course! Saying a prayer now and will keep her in mind... Why worry when you can pray, right?
