One thing that is easier with number two is all the stuff. Most stuff we had from Brayden and we already knew what we liked and didn't.
Three years since B and there is new stuff and new things. Word of mouth and mom reviews are key to baby gear. I love reading these posts to see what other moms are loving and hating.
Here are a few things we love this time around...
Natural pacifiers. We discovered these a week ago and have since not used anything else. They are 100% natural rubber, super soft (like a boob), and promotes healthy breastfeeding. She loves them. I bought them at Whole Foods.
Baby Bucket Tub. I heard of these from a friend who used one and after scowering the internet finally found one. Love! Why did we ever use the normal tubs that just use a tiny bit of water, she loves to be submerged.
Eyelet nursing cover. I never nursed B (only pumped) so I never used a cover. This time around I ordered the internet free one and quickly learned how HOT they are. Even a blanket felt like a sauna. I found this cover and it's amazing!!! I highly recommend.
Nursing Jammies. I treated myself and got these jammies to make night duty alittle easier this winter. I must say they are awesome. Super soft and functional. Every new mom needs these.
Nipple Balm. This is all natural and safe for baby and mom. Baby can nurse right after use and don't need to wipe it off. Love this stuff.
Aden and Anais Bamboo. Of course I've loved this brand since we had B, we still carry a muslin blanket everywhere in case he needs to lay on it. This time around I discovered the bamboo line. They are much softer! A little more pricey but worth every penny. We have the bibs, burpy bibs, and swaddles....LOVE!
Boppy Lounger Pillow. I had never heard of this and I saw it on Instagram and Blogs and moms were raving about it. I put it on my registry and thought it would be a waste of money and we would surely return it. NO way, it's awesome. She's in it 1-3 hours a day. I can put her in it to doze off, she fits perfect in it. Much better support than a typical boppy.
I also put her in it under her play mat after she eats so she's a little upright to prevent spit ups.
Some other products we are still loving...
